Synopsis
After Ava’s workaholic boyfriend cancels their Hawaiian vacation over the holidays, she decides to leave New York City for California for some time to think. She meets Mia online through a home rental site (not knowing she is only 12 years old), who convinces her widowed Dad Mason to rent out the guest home during the holidays. Soon after arriving in Tinsel, California, Ava realizes the situation, and offers to pack up and leave, but both Mason and Mia convince her to stay and enjoy the holidays together. What starts out as an impulsive trip for Ava turns into an important step in achieving her own happiness.
