Synopsis

Patty Cakes has been the most popular bakery in town for generations. Their famous Christmas cake is the “must-have” dessert for everyone’s Christmas dinner. The matriarch, Patty, took over the bakery from her mother 40 years ago, and has continued to run it with the same family touch. With Christmas fast approaching, Patty has announced her retirement and intends to bequeath the operations to one of her children. The question then becomes… which of Patty’s three adult children will inherit the bakery: Jennifer, Angela or Anthony? Patty’s not the type of woman who could choose one child over the other. Rather, she decides to let them compete for the opportunity with a “Christmas Cake Off”. It is time to come up with a new take on the bakery’s famous Christmas cake just in time for the town’s festival, and whichever of her children does it best will take over the bakery.
