Synopsis

Carole, an overworked businesswoman/mother, juggles her work and family obligations as well as the yearly Christmas Eve preparations for her extended family. Though she loves her family deeply, she cannot help but wonder what her life would be like had she chosen another path. Carole gets granted a great gift - overnight she finds herself in an alternate life where money is no object - but her husband and family is nowhere in sight, and her relationship with her brother and mother has changed - and not for the better. Only after realizing herself that the greatest gift was not a glimpse of what could have been, but rather what she already had, Carole returns to her real life just in time to celebrate Christmas with her family.
